Bentley will develop a version of the new Continental GT that will fight Porsche 911. Besides this more special editions of the new model of Crewe are planned.

The new generation of Bentley Continental GT will have more special editions than the last generation of the British model. The Crewe-located automaker wants to make this step forward in order to further grow their customers database and sell more Bentley Continental GT units. The final aim is to split the sales volume throughout the whole life of the model, in order to promise an smooth manufacture without ups and downs. This would allow Bentley to set an best schedule for their meeting lines and so they will not have to lay off their workers for then to employ them again.

All the fluctuations in sales and productions will have to be as smooth as possible, for the Brits to get the consequence they expect. It looks like in the near prospect we’ll also have a Continental GT version that will fight the special versions of Porsche 911. The British brand’s decision is a little bit odd, as both brands are under the Volkswagen Auto Grup’s protective wing and competition within the family is something to avoid.

The new Bentley Continental GT will be more expensive that the current model and will have a new engine. The new engine will be a 4.0-liter direct injection V8, coming from Audi, which will be supercharged by two turbines. Both engine options will be powered by petrol, but it seems that the Bentley engineers are also preparing a flex-fuel version.

The Bentley Mulsanne was launched via Bentley Motors in India in March 2010. This car is designed with top end technical innovations and provides exquisite comfort and luxury to its occupants. The delivery of Bentley Mulsanne is slated to start from next month (october) 2010.

TheMulsanne review shows that the car is designed to be a good-looking blend of both traditional as well as modern aspects in terms of manufacturing and design. This car comes ready with a 6752cc V8 engine with Turbo feature. This engine can deliver maximum power of 512 bhp at 4200 rpm along with peak torque of 1020 Nm at 1750 rpm.

This ensures that the engine can deliver better performance on a consistent basis. Bentley Mulsanne has ventilated disc brake system for the front as well rear region. The car also comes equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission gearbox and the car has paddle shift that is mounted on the steering wheel. The length of the car is 5575mm and its height is 1521mm and its width is 1926mm
